Abstract

All Tanzanian Higher Learning Institution as academic Institutions have their own methods to conduct their services. However, some services in each Higher Learning Institution should be collaborating with one another as well as their Higher Learning Institutional partners. Higher Learning Institutional partners includes: TCU; NACTE; MoEST; NECTA; HESLB; and COSTECH. Collaboration among them requires sharing necessary information to pursue their intra and inter-services. Information sharing is significant key indicator to enhance Collaborative services. Without it Collaborative services becomes meaningless. HLI Stakeholders require information outside from another Institution for the different activities in official, academic, social and carrier purposes. Study aim is to assess Information sharing and dissemination among Tanzanian Higher Learning Institution in order establishes information sharing framework that would be useful in different purposes. Information sharing framework comprises; with HLI services qualifies for information sharing: Extent of Information sharing to those services; factor influence information sharing and strategies of improving information sharing. Finding of the study suggest necessary procedure to work with information sharing for better performance in excellence consideration of principles of information sharing. Strategies of Information sharing will automatically result on effectiveness and efficient of collaborative services with respect to HLI Stakeholders satisfaction.
