Abstract
For a business to achieve success in recruiting qualified candidates without bias, it must utilize an E-recruitment process. This paper assesses the determinants of Erecruitment efficacy in Tanzania, specifically focusing on the Public Service
Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS). The researcher aimed to evaluate three specific objectives: to examine the influence of computer usage rates on E-recruitment efficacy, to determine the impact of staff competency on E-recruitment efficacy, and to assess the influence of organizational infrastructures on E-recruitment efficacy at the PSRS office in Dodoma municipal.The study employed a mixed approach, crosssectional research design while purposive and simple random sampling was used to get a sample of 84 respondents from a population of 107 staff at PSRS offices. Data were collected through interviews and surveys. Analyzed by using Content analysis and binary analysis through the help of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Findings revealed that the E-recruitment efficacy has been influenced by the number of users determines the efficiency and system effectiveness of E-recruitment processes due to positive significant within the computer usage rate. Also indicatesa positive significanceof required technical skills, and professionalism on the Erecruitment efficacy. Also revealed that information access, internet availability and website design to the E-recruitment efficacy. Therefore, the determinants of Erecruitment are important to E-recruitment Efficacy.The researcher recommended improvements of possible government support, network improvement, and improvement on training, to make people awareness, shared and understand the Erecruitment system and improve communication and coordination among departments.
