Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of electronic records keeping on compliance to Public Procurement Act in Tanzania. The study involved 158 respondents from 3 sampled procuring entities (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority-PPRA, National Health Insurance Fund-NHIF, and National Electoral Commission-NEC) in Dodoma. Judgmental sampling procedure was involved to select samples in this study. Data were collected by using questionnaire, interview and secondary sources. In the part of analysis, regression was applied in this study. This study revealed that e-records access is the key variable that positive influences compliance to Public Procurement Act in Tanzania. This means that compliance to Public
Procurement Act increase, when e-records access increases. Therefore, in any public entities, for the compliance to public procurement act should implement highly e-records access in the effective electronic records keeping.
