Purpose: The study aims to identify the effect of COVID-19 pandemic in teaching and learning entrepreneurship in the institutions of higher learning (HLI). Design/Methodology/Approach: The research methodology of this study was empirical review as information was collected from archives, documentaries, reports and research articles related to the subject matter. The process was formulated through designing and conducting the literature review, data review, structuring and writing the review. But also content analysis technique was applied for more knowledge. Findings: The findings revealed three major issues related to the theory adopted; there was a gap in teaching and learning approaches, need of creativity and innovation in teaching and learning and student’s mental hardship in learning process of which affected the learning process. Research Limitations/Implications: The study adapted qualitative research methodology of which involved analysis of empirical studies through systematic and content analysis. The use of qualitative study could have added more weight in the study. Practical Implication: The study finds indicates that the Experiential Learning Theory is applicable in HLI’s even in difficulty times provided that technological network is applied. In this case technology should be observed in a larger picture. Originality/Value: Using Experiential Learning Theory (ELT), the study has highlighted and revealed the negative effect of covid-19 being the cause-factor towards the ineffectiveness of learning by doing in HLI’s. This research underpins theoretical attention whereby the applicability of the Experimental Learning Theory is relevant in the modern times but also during the time of crisis.
