Effect of Procurement Process Management on Organizational Performance in Dodoma City.

Abstract

The main purpose of the study was to procurement process management on organization performance, the study adopted a descriptive survey design. The study used simple randomly, sampling to select 67 employees. Primary data were collected using questionnaires and interview method. Data were analyzed using regression analysis. The study findings revealed that, procurement planning, procurement methods, procedures and subcontracting strategies were positive and significant related to organization performance. The study concludes that, procurement planning, procurement methods, procedures and subcontracting strategies were important component of procurement process that affect organizational performance in Dodoma city. The study recommends that the management should ensure that there is an appropriate focus on good practice in procurement and that there is a significant procurement procedure in place to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines. On delivering services management must address the issue of procurement practice as this has accrued benefits directly to the bottom line of the organization.
