| dc.description.abstract | In order for a business to succeed in feat a qualified candidate without bias must use an Erecruitment process. This paper is assessing the determinants of e-recruitment efficacy in Tanzania. A researcher aimed to assess the determinants of the e-recruitment efficacy in the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat. The study’s specific objectives were to examine the influence of computer usage rate on the E-recruitment efficacy; to determine the influence of staff competency on E-recruitment efficacy, and to assess the influence of organization infrastructures for e-recruitment efficacy in the PSRS office at Dodoma Municipal. The study employed a mixed approach, cross-sectional research design while purposive and simple random sampling was used to get a sample of 84 respondents from population of 107 staff at PSRS offices. Data were collected through interviews and surveys. Analyzed by using Content analysis and binary analysis through the help of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Findings revealed that the E-recruitment efficacy is influenced by the higher number of users and system effectiveness due to positive significance within the computer usage rate. Also the findings indicate positive significant relationship between required technical skills, and professionalism on the Erecruitment efficacy. Furthermore, the study reveals that information access, internet availability and website design have positive significant relationship to the E-recruitment efficacy. The study recommend that in order to improve E-recruitment the government should provide training on E-recruitment system, improve network accessibility, make people awareness and understand on important of E-recruitment methods, all in all to improve the E-recruitment system, communication and coordination among department. | |
