Factors Influencing Implementation Performamnce of Annual Procurement Plan at Air Tanzania Company Limited in Tanzania.

Abstract

This study investigated the factors influencing annual procurement plan implementation performance at Air Tanzania Company limited in Tanzania. The study specific goal was to determine the effect of budget allocation on annual procurement plan implementation performance. The case study research design was used, with 92 respondents chosen using a simple random sampling technique and key informants chosen using a purposive sampling technique. To collect primary data from respondents, the study used a questionnaire survey and an interview. The data was analyzed using a multiple linear regression model. The findings revealed that, budget allocation were significant and positively related to annual procurement plan implementation performance. The study concludes budget allocation were significant factors influencing annual procurement plan implementation performance at Air Tanzania Company Limited. As a result, the study advises Air Tanzania Company Limited management to improve budget allocation in order to effectively and efficiently implement the annual procurement plan.
